Richard Morse

Guitarist, Bassist, Vocalist & Tutor

I began playing guitar in the late 80s and started gigging in the early 90s in an originals band, culminating in playing venues such as The Marquee Club and Rock Garden in London.

Over the years I’ve found myself in many varied guitar playing situations. From acoustic duos to function bands.

My main live outlet for the last 20 or so years is Think Floyd, the UK’s definitive Pink Floyd tribute act, playing dozens of shows a year in UK theatres and across Europe including some festivals.

Over the last 25 years of live work I have been lucky to work with many talented musicians, including members of Pink Floyd, Queen and Adam Lambert, The Roger Waters (Bleeding Hearts) Band, The Steve Hackett Band, Feeder, The Blockheads and The Rick Wakeman Band.

My musical and guitar-playing influences are varied and include: Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Peter Green, Jeff Beck, Steve Hackett, Brian Setzer and Van Halen.

I teach guitar (acoustic, electric and bass guitars) in a wide range of styles from classic rock and blues, modern rock and metal to acoustic finger style and country to contemporary pop, funk and classical.

Guitar lessons are in central Sevenoaks and mainly Monday to Thursday to allow for my gig schedule.

It is my aim for my students to become as rounded and confident a musician and guitarist as possible.
